Many elements of VCMI were at RECPAD 2017 on October 27 at Academia Militar in Amadora. The best paper was awarded to the work entitled  “The Potential of Multimodal Learning for Sign Language Recognition” by Pedro M. Ferreira, Jaime S. Cardoso and Ana Rebelo, all from VCMI.
